A glimpse of Japan this spacious junior suite with a Western-style mattress set on a wooden frame with a tatami and a coffee table with a built-in zen garden. With the wardrobe with sliding rice paper doors and the bamboo flooring you can imagine being in Kyoto, the ancient capital of Japan.

The minimalist benches, matching prints and cylindrical cushions on the bed complete the feeling of a traditional Japanese home focusing on serenity and tranquillity.  The light filtering from the Velux window on the beamed ceiling is combined with the dimmed lighting of the lamps to create an atmosphere of silence and intimacy.

The bathroom is decorated with mosaic tiles in shades of beige and brown that match the solid wood shelf on which the washbasin rests. The shelf is made with some 18th century boards taken away before the demolition.

The Inaka and Okome rooms are connected by a small corner corridor and together they form a single unit that accommodates up to 5 people, with a separate entrance, ideal for families and couples.
